'Prison Break' Revival Cast News: More Original Cast Members Confirmed For Reboot
The upcoming "Prison Break" revival event will include more of its original cast members, reports have confirmed.
Former "Prison Break" actors Robert Kneppper, Rockmond Dunbar, and Amaury Nolasco will be joining the revival cast in their respective roles as T-Bag, C-Note, and Sucre, Variety and other media outlets have learned.
On Wednesday, March 16, Nolasco announced that he will be bringing back Sucre to Fox's "Prison Break" reboot by posting a still from the original series to Instagram. The photo was captioned: "It's Official !!! #Sucre is back with the gang! Buckle up! Looking forward to seeing my brothers again. #prisonbreak #blessed #lovemyjob #Sucre"

Following Nolasco's announcement, Fox confirmed on Thursday, March 17, that the actor will be joined by two other returning cast members.
Knepper is set to reprise his role as Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell while Dunbar brings back Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin.
The new additions will join "Prison Break" stars Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield), Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows), and Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tancredi), all of whom have previously confirmed their return for the revival event. The addition of Nolasco, Knepper, and Dunbar appears to round out the list of main characters from the popular serial drama's first season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, more cast members are expected to return for the upcoming nine-episode reboot.
The "Prison Break" revival will find Sara discovering clues that will lead her to believe that Michael, the father of her child, is still alive. The discovery will prompt her and Michael's brother, Lincoln, to reunite and hatch a plan to rescue Michael. Sucre, T-Bag, and C-Note will aid the two in their mission.
The revival event will also star "Royal Pains" actor Mark Feuerstein as Sara's new husband. It begins production in April in Vancouver.
Though a specific date has yet to be determined, the "Prison Break" revival is expected to air during the 2016/2017 season on Fox.
