Probation, community service, and AA sentence for 'Real Housewives' star Kim Richards
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (RHOBH) star Kim Richards has been sentenced to probation, community service, and AA meetings following her intoxication arrest last April.
On Sept. 14, the Real Housewives reality star was given a sentence of three years of probation and 30 days of community service for the charges filed against her after she was arrested in April. Kim Richards was detained by police officers and was charged with public intoxication, trespassing, and resisting arrest in an incident at the Polo Club at the Beverly Hills Hotel, according to Contact Music.
After she was arrested, Richards was admitted in a rehabilitation facility. This is not the first time that she was checked into rehab and she has been known to be struggling with alcoholism.

In addition to the probation and community service, the Los Angeles court has also required Richards to spend 52 days at Alcoholics Anonymous, the report adds.
Richards had been under the spotlight earlier for not appearing in court and requesting the judge to allow her legal representative to appear for her, citing a minor foot injury. She was reportedly ordered by her doctor to rest her foot for two weeks, the Inquisitr reports.
At that time, Richards rejected the plea deal offered by the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. The RHOBH did not want community labor and community service to be included in her sentence. A representative for the District Attorney's office said they negotiated the reality star's sentence.
The judge granted her request and allowed her attorney to appear for her in court. However, she was not given a sentence during that court appointment.
Because of her current situation, Richards will not be included in the cast for the next season of RHOBH. But her legal problems do not end there. She was arrested last month at a Target outlet in Los Angeles for allegedly shoplifting.
