'Quantico' Season 2 Episodes 3 and 4 Spoilers and Updates: Alex Parrish to Survive Two More Episodes; Potential Alex-Nimah Tradeoff with Terrorists?
All bodes well for CIA agent Alex Parrish (played by Priyanka Chopra), who, based on the new "Quantico" Season 2 spoilers, will live a little while longer. SpoilerTV revealed the official title and synopses for the next two episodes, and it looks like Alex will be making some tough choices if she wants to survive the ongoing terrorist threat.
'Quantico' Season 2 Episode 3: Stescalade
"Quantico" Season 2.03 will pick up right after the events of the latest episode. Titled, "Stescalade," it's a reference to the news agency bugging in Havana, Cuba, during the 1960s, which means the latest episode may deal with espionage. The official synopsis revealed that the new CIA recruits will be doing assessment training while at the Farm. In the future, Alex will be going on an undercover mission to infiltrate the terrorist group, only to find a familiar face among the terrorists.
It may be recalled that Alex was inside the building where the terrorists took their hostages, and was ordered by Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis) to gather as much intel as she can and report back to her. However, during the final moments of "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 2, Miranda had apparently alerted the terrorists of Alex's presence inside the building.
'Quantico' 2.04: Kubark
While it may look like a betrayal (again) from one of Alex's most trusted mentors, "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 4, "Kubark," puts yet another one of her instructors into the suspect limelight. In its official synopsis, Alex seems to be gathering information on their CIA instructor, Owen Hall (Blair Underwood), as her fellow CIA trainees undergo stress management drills.
In the last "Quantico" Season 2 episode, Owen Hall kept uncomfortably close to Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin). It was later on revealed that the former was strangely invested in Ryan, and guessed that Ryan had left the FBI because of his deep distrust with the Bureau following Liam O'Connor's betrayal. Owen had told Ryan to give him and his teachings a chance, and that he wanted a CIA agent who follows instincts, not orders. But while it sounds like a good pep talk, the fixation with Ryan seems troubling.
Meanwhile, in the future, the terrorists demand a tradeoff that could potentially end the standoff. And the promotional photos feature Nimah Amin (Yasmine Al-Massri) heavily. Will fans see a switch between Nimah and Alex in that terrorist building? After all, Nimah and Raina have had experience in dealing with these sort of conflict, as seen in "Quantico" Season 1 when they lived under one roof with a deadly group of terrorists.
"Quantico" Season 2 airs every Sunday on the ABC Television Network, 10 p.m.
