Rainbow Six Siege DLC Release Date, News and Update
After Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege got its very first DLC called "Operation Black Ice," Ubisoft made a recent announcement saying that there will be three anticipated expansion packs for the highly popular online multiplayer game, and that all those are expected to be released this year.
Since the first DLC was meant for Canada-based players, it would make perfect sense if the next one is to be U.S. based. And because it's already mid-April, it means the most likely release date for a new DLC is anywhere in the second quarter of the year. Meanwhile, the game creators added that the second and third expansion packs are Brazil and Japan based.
There are strong rumors that the release date is set for April 14, although Ubisoft hasn't confirmed it. However, there is good reason to believe it since multiple sites already have posted it in their calendars. But regardless of what the real release date is, this doesn't change the fact that avid gamers of Siege are certainly going to get the much-awaited DLCs.

It's way too exciting to think about what sort of improvements those packs will carry with them since "Operation Black Ice" had a lot, including but not limited to new weapon skins, new operations, and lots of new guns.
The first-person shooter video game was developed by the Montreal branch of giant game developer, Ubisoft. It was originally designed to succeed another popular game, Rainbow 6: Patriots, but later on, it apparently was redirected to focus on two aspects – player coop and environmental destruction.

Other than the expected DLCs, the game also got Patch 2.3, where some bug fixes and minor tweaks give players a more stable playing experience. The PC version was released late March while the console version came a week after in early April.
