'Ray Donovan' Season 4 News: Series Stars Share Updates For Upcoming Chapter

The fourth season of Showtime's critically-acclaimed TV series, "Ray Donovan," is still reportedly under development and details regarding what's coming next for the show are still being kept a secret. Fortunately, a number of the series' stars stepped out to offer some insights, at least on their respective characters, which may help the fans figure out what to expect come Season 4.

The most recent of which comes from Steven Bauer who plays the role of Ray's (Liev Schreiber) muscle man. In an interview last month, the actor told The Wrap how he would love for the show to explore the personal life of Avi. However, he's got no problem whatsoever if it's not yet in the cards.

Actor Dash Mihok, meanwhile, also shared, this time in a separate interview with the media outlet, that he would love his character, Bunchy Donovan, to work as one of Ray's men.

"Liev had this plot line, that I loved, but I don't know if it's gonna happen. He had this idea that it would be amazing if I came and worked for him. I think there would be a lot of humor and hijinks if Bunchy got to work for Ray," he revealed to the publication.

Meanwhile, there have been questions from fans concerning the possibility for Jon Voight to return for Season 4.

Voight's alter-ego, Mickey, is often found in a hopeless situation. Viewers even went on to speculate that he might not make it to the new chapter. But for David Hollander, "Ray Donovan's" new showrunner, Mickey's dark predicament shouldn't come as a new thing.

"I laugh only because that's the easiest part," the EP told TVLine. "Mickey always wakes up in a new place, and that place feels permanent until it's not. Boston. Mexico. North Hollywood. And somehow, some way, whatever he is doing, it's going to drag him right back into the heart of Donovan land."

"Ray Donovan" is slated to premiere its 12-part Season 4 by mid-2016. Stay tuned for more updates.
