'Ray Donovan' Season 4 Spoilers: Will Katie Holmes Return?

With the fourth season of "Ray Donovan" expected this year, fans have been wondering if one of the stars will be returning to the series.

The previous season saw Katie Holmes portraying the role of Paige Finney. The character was seen needing brace due to her migraines. She was a representation of someone who looked like she had everything all together, yet is still flawed. Intrigued by the complex character, fans are hoping that the actress will be back to reprise her role for the upcoming season.

The executive producer of "Ray Donovan" David Hollander recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about her return to the series. He stated, "I'm never finished with anybody. But her family certainly is not going to be a centerpiece as a plot initially. If something about it becomes relevant to the story and can be additive and bring up more places to explore, sure. I love those actors and characters."

The executive producer also shared some interesting hints for the upcoming play. The previous season saw Mickey in an unfortunate situation that led fans to question the character's fate. However, Hollander explained that he will be playing a big part in the upcoming season.

He stated, "Mickey always wakes up in a new place, and that place feels permanent until it's not. Boston. Mexico. North Hollywood. And somehow, some way, whatever he is doing, it's going to drag him right back into the heart of Donovan land."

Although there has yet to be any confirmation regarding its release date, there are already predictions on when the series will return. The other seasons have been released during the first or second week of July, with an exception to one that was released on June 30. Therefore, "Ray Donovan" season 4 is slated for release sometime this July.
