'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star Kim Richards Breaks Silence on Arrest, Says 'The Whole Night is My Fault'

One week after she got arrested, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards is opening up about the incident, saying that it would never have happened if she had chosen not to drink.

"I was angry and frightened and I was scared. I knew what I had done," Richards told Dr. Phil, according to an early transcript obtained by People Magazine, about the night of her arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

"The whole night is my fault. None of this would have happened if I didn't drink," she said.

Richards was arrested early Thursday morning after security at the hotel called the police because of a possible fight. The reality star locked herself in the bathroom of the establishment and police had to enter the bathroom at around 2 a.m. to arrest her.

She was ultimately charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, public intoxication and battery on a police officer, as it was reported that Richards kicked a cop while at the station.

Meanwhile, a family friend tells People that despite concern about Richards' arrest last week, the reality star is allegedly holding off going to rehab right now.

"As of now, she is saying no to rehab," said the friend to the magazine. "People are trying to get her to go. A lot of people are worried about her."

Richards' sobriety was a main storyline in season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." When Lisa Rinna questioned her if she was still sober, the mother of four lashed out at her, denying that she has fallen off the wagon.

Since the arrest, Richards has since "calmed down," said the friend to People.

"When it first happened, she was upset and didn't want to talk about it. Now she does. She is very embarrassed."
