'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date & Update: Game Rumored To Arrive On October, To Be Unveiled At E3 2016?
"Red Dead Redemption 2" continues to be a hot topic among fans as many are expecting it to happen even though Rockstar Games has not confirmed details about it yet. According to a report by Crossmap, the sequel will supposedly be announced in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo this June in Las Vegas. If the rumors are true, then it may be released late this year, perhaps sometime in October.
But since there is no official announcement for that yet, it's best to take the report with a pinch of salt. However, many are hoping that it will come out this year already as the first game was surprisingly a hit when it came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Latinos Health even noted that the game was deemed better than Rockstar's "Grand Theft Auto" by many fans. The open-world, western action-adventure video game was launched in May 2010, which means that fans of the game have waited about five years already for a part two.
And because "Red Dead Redemption" turned out to be a success, the game maker is now feeling the pressure of creating a sequel that will surpass its predecessor. Fans are expecting a better storyline and gameplay.

Information about the storyline of the game is scarce but there are several rumors going around including the possibility of the game being set in Japan. But since "Red Dead Redemption" carries an Old West feel, that may not be the case. A different article from Crossmap also said that a leak revealed that the sequel will be called "Legends of the West" and that it will feature two new characters.
Reports also say that the sequel may feature other states of the United States including Utah, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Dakota, Louisiana, Rocky Mountains and Mexico. Rockstar may reveal more maps once the game is announced.
