'Reign' News, Update: Season 3B Premiere Date Finally Revealed; Writers Confirm It's A 'Wrap'
Avid followers of The CW's hit historical fantasy drama TV series "Reign" can now start marking their calendars as the network has finally announced the return date of the series for the second half of its Season 3.
According to Carter Matt, the remaining episodes of the royalty drama will be rolled out starting Monday, April 25. Its midseason will replace the outgoing Rachel Bloom-starred, written, and produced musical comedy, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend."
With its new timeslot now at the start of the week, as it was formerly aired during Fridays, the fans can't wait to find out what's in store for Season 3B.

Not much has been revealed except for the fact that Episode 11 will be called "Succession." The only known update indicates that the rest of the season has already been wrapped up.
On Wednesday, Feb. 10, the official Twitter page of the "Reign" writers posted a group photo featuring the minds behind the critically-acclaimed drama. In the post, they confirmed that they have already finished penning the remainder of the season and that they couldn't wait for the fans to watch it.
"That's a wrap on writing #ReignSeason3! What an amazing season. We can't wait for you to see the rest!" their Twitter post reads.
According to series star Megan Follows, who plays the role of Catherine on the show, there's still a lot of interesting events that are about to unfold.
"What's fantastic about our show is that we've really embraced change and grown; there are so many stories to tell," she said, as was quoted over at TVLine.
What makes it even more exciting, at least on her part, is that one of the episodes of Season 3B is under her direction.
"I started pestering them pretty much right away, saying, 'I want to do this. I want to do this,'" she shared to the media outlet. "They were very supportive and said I needed to shadow the other directors, so I learned a tremendous amount that way. I was also directing a play at the same time. I wanted to show them that I was serious."
