'Reign' Season 3 Episode 10 Spoilers: Mary Deals With Matters Of The Heart; Catherine, Narcisse Fight For The Regency
Things continue to get even more interesting and intriguing as the third season of The CW's hit historical fantasy drama TV series "Reign" moves on this week with a brand new episode that might see Mary (Adelaide Kane) succumbing to her growing feelings towards Gideon (Ben Geurens) while Catherine (Megan Follows) and Narcisse (Craig Parker) continue to fight for power.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Bruises That Lie," the Queen of Scots will find herself struggling to contain the feelings she has for Gideon. Making matters worse is the fact that the future of her dominion depends upon some political issues which she has to attend to so she might have to suppress the longing of her heart for a while. Will Mary give in to what her heart dictates? If so, what could be the consequences that not only the queen, but the whole kingdom as well, will suffer if and when her political influence weakens?
The TFC summary went on to hint of "similar heart-wrenching situations" that Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) and Greer (Celina Sinden) will also be encountering.

In another development, Catherine and Narcisse will continue to lock horns over the right to become the Regency and it appears that neither of them is willing to back down anytime soon. Meanwhile, Claude (Rose Williams) will find herself in a quite difficult situation on her wedding night.
The promo video for the episode, which was shared over at YouTube, showed the younger sister of the deceased French king on the verge of breaking down as she faces the altar of marriage.
"Reign" Season 3 Episode 10, which is reportedly helmed by Follows and written by P.K. Simmons, is slated to premiere this Friday, Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. on The CW. Stay tuned for more updates.
