'Reign' Season 3 Spoilers: Mary Banished From Castle; Catherine & Narcisse Continue The Battle For The Crown
Fans of the American historical fantasy TV series "Reign" are already excited to find out what happens next after the events of season 3 episode 9, which was titled "Wedlock." According to a round-up by Entertainment Weekly, the previous episode showed Mary almost married to Don Carlos. But after seeing him lying about his "paralyzed" condition, the Queen of Scotland changed her mind and planned to do some bluffing of her own.
Thus, their marriage was cancelled after Don Carlos stopped from signing the marriage contract after finding out that the Crown Matrimonial was nowhere to be found in the documents. He revealed his real condition which Mary had planned all along.
In the next episode, the drama continues as the struggle over the seat of power goes on between Narcisse and Catherine. According to Christian Today, the two will be doing everything they can to get what they want. The promo for episode 10 titled "Bruises That Lie" revealed that Catherine will be gravely worried and exasperated about Narcisse becoming king. She is doing everything she can, though, to prevent his rise to the throne.

Narcisse isn't pleased with what Catherine's doing though, saying, "Catherine's act of defiance cannot be tolerated." But it isn't only Catherine who is getting a piece of Narcisse's wrath as Mary is also seen being banished from the castle by the Regent of France. He tells her that she will have to leave the grounds in a matter of days.
The promo also revealed Claude tearing up as she is being forced to wed someone she doesn't even love. Charles isn't happy about the wedding as well and confronts his mother about it. He is seen in the clip saying to his mother, "I want to discuss my family and what you have done to it."
A lot of drama is expected to unfold in "Reign" season 3 when it returns to the small screen on Friday, Jan. 22 on CW.
