Robert Pattinson Covers Premiere Magazine Cannes Film Festival Issue; Actor Over Kristen Stewart?

The "Twilight" actor, 27, appears with his face splattered in blue, white and red hues for the magazine's
Cannes Film Festival special issue. Pattinson is expected to attend the annual festival, which runs from May 14 to May 25, for his two films: "The Rover" and "Maps to the Stars."

The festival lineup was announced on April 16 and Pattinson's ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart's film "Clouds of Sils Maria" was also included which has raised questions about a possible reunion.
The pair, who met on the 2008 set of "Twilight," split last year after Stewart's infamous cheating scandal, however, they are said to be on good terms. While fans are still holding out for a reconciliation one insider says there is absolutely no chance of this happening and that the British actor is ready to move on from the actress.
"Rob is beyond ready to cut the cord with Kristen. They were definitely in love, but the relationship has run it's course and he is ready to move on," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
In October, five months after the split, Pattinson and Stewart were photographed enjoying a dog date with their respective pets in Los Angeles which reignited reconciliation speculation. The pair adopted rescue dogs together while they were still dating, which was the main reason behind their reunion last year.
"Even though they split a while ago, he thinks she is super-needy," the source said.
"They got dogs together, but they're fine just being with her. He doesn't need to stop by to see them or talk to them over the phone. They're just … dogs," the insider explained.
Stewart is reportedly eager to maintain a friendship with the "Life" actor, however, he is said to be reluctant and instead wants to focus on moving on.
"He keeps denying her requests to hang out because he doesn't want to give her the wrong impression that they are getting back together," the source revealed.
"Let's be real — if he wanted to see her, he could charter private jets all the time. He just doesn't want to," the source went on. "He wishes her the best, but he's interested in being single and working and living his life — end of story."
