Rockstar Fixes Issues With Saved Data Migration on All Consoles for Grand Theft Auto V
Game releases nowadays aren't as smooth as last-gen games, with bugs and glitches being reported at the game's day-one release. Grand Theft Auto 5 is not an exception and it seems that there are character transfer issues on the Playstation 4. Rockstar, however, has confirmed the presence of the issues and released a day-one patch.
The same issues have also been fixed for Xbox users, with transfers of the save files from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One.
"At this time, Playstation 4 users should no longer have issues downloading the patch. All character migrations are now working on Playsation are now working on Playstation 4, and affected Playstation 3 users can play GTA Online as normal," Rockstar said in a statement.
"Sony have increased the number of servers that the Playstation 4 patch can be downloaded from to reduce errors and make the patch more accessible. Please try the patch download again; if you still see an error, close GTA V completely and try to install the patch. Stay tuned to this page for the latest updates," Rockstar added.
Grand Theft Auto 5 for the next-gen consoles were only released recently with a plethora of changes and improvements. The next-gen ports now also include a first-person mode, visual and technical upgrades, new wildlife additions, as well as support for up to 30 players in GTA Online.
New weapons, vehicle additions, and over 100 additional new songs have also been added to the game.
The PC version of the game will be coming early 2015.
