Ronda Rousey Next Fight Rumors: Holly Holm Says She Could Defeat Rousey 10 Times Out Of 10

Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey lost her UFC bantamweight championship title in a knock-out defeat to Holly Holm in the main event of the UFC 193 on Nov. 15. It was her sixth title defense. Fans expect the former world champion to bounce back and reclaim her title, perhaps in a rematch with Holm in 2016. But will the new UFC bantamweight champion let her have the title back?

The 34-year-old American mixed martial artist and former professional boxer recently spoke to The New York Times and revealed some details about her preparation for the fight, knocking Rousey out, and her plans for the future. When asked how many times she would win if she had to fight Rousey 10 times, the woman of the moment didn't hesitate to answer: "Ten." The characteristically humble UFC champion went on to say: "Because if I tell myself that there is one that I might not get, then I'll be vulnerable. I also know that I'm beatable, so I'm going to train twice as hard. She's going to come back. She's mad that it's not her title anymore. I've got to be twice as ready as last time."

Rousey was hospitalized following UFC 193 and was medically suspended by the UFC. She missed the post-fight press conference and has yet to publicly comment on her loss apart from an Instagram post thanking fans for their support and vowing to come back after taking some time off.

UFC fans are anticipating a Holm-Rousey rematch, which could occur at UFC 200 on July 9, 2016. But while this would bring in a lot of cash for everyone involved, some within the sport doubt that going up against the same fighter who so completely and humiliatingly dethroned her would be a good idea for Rousey.

ONE welterweight champion Ben Askren weighed in on the fight, telling The MMA Hour, "I think she bought into her own hype so much, that this was just so devastating." He added, "It's going to be hard to come back from."
