Russell Westbrook Meltdown: Thabo Incident Video Has NBA Fans Talking (VIDEO)

Russell Westbrook suffered a bit of a meltdown on Thursday night despite the Oklahoma City Thunder being up by 25 points.

The Thunders' star guard lost it big time and had to leave the bench court side and make his way back to the locker room after he couldn't seem to control himself.

It has been reported that Westbrook had a heated argument with teammate Thabo Sefolosha after Westbrook was called for a five second violation.

Following the incident Westbrook was taken out the game and took a seat next to assistant coach Mo Cheeks. According to CBS, Cheeks tried to calm Westbrook down but he seemed to have have completely lost it.

His meltdown got worse, and eventually Westbrook could be seen flipping over court side chairs, before storming off to the locker room.

Of the incident coach Scott Brooks later said: "There's no question he was frustrated with himself — there's no question … He had a turnover. He was frustrated with himself."

He added, "Russell's an emotional guy. He plays hard. He plays every night. He plays for his team every night. … There's no question he was frustrated. I'm not trying to downplay that. He has to be able to control his frustrations, but that's part of it. It's nothing that's going to carry over until tomorrow, it's over with, we've moved on."

A few minutes later Westbrook emerged court side once again and rejoined the game. He seemed to have calmed down and he helped the Thunder see out the game and claim another win.
