Samsung Galaxy A9 Update: Leaked Screenshot Reveals Smartphone Price
Last week, Samsung fans got to meet the Galaxy A9 smartphone after it was launched in China before Christmas day. The price and the availability of the device, however, was not revealed along with the launch.
But according to a report by Geeky Gadgets, a leaked screenshot from mobile site Weibo containing the price of the handset surfaced online.
It's still not announced when it will be made available in Chinese stores, but the Samsung Galaxy A9 is said to cost RMB 3,199, which is equivalent to around $490 at today's exchange rate or Rs. 32,700.
As predicted, the device wouldn't come cheap. As noted in Christian Today, users were already expecting a steep price considering the device sports a metal frame and glass body.

Aside from that, the Galaxy A9 also comes with other promising specs, starting off with its 6-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. Its pixels resolution is 1080x1920 and it comes with a 2.5D curved glass.
International Business Times also noted that the Galaxy A9 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor under its hood, along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage. It supports dual SIM with one as the nano SIM slot and the other one that doubles as microSD card slot, allowing the internal storage to expand up to 128 GB. It's pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system but Samsung will upgrade it to Marshmallow soon.
As for its camera specs, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and LED flash. On the front, an 8-megapixel camera can be found, perfect for snapping a few selfies.
A fingerprint scanner can be found on the home button as well. Giving it power and light is its 4000mAh battery that can be quickly charged thanks to the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 tech support. The color options available, as noted in Vine Report, include white, gold, and pink.
