Samsung Galaxy Note 7 August Release Date: Flagship Device Passes Through FCC; Specs, Features and Price Details

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 U.S models have finally been approved by the Federal Communications Commission, marking that the device is now one step closer to its upcoming August 2, 2016 release.

The Samsung models that were approved by FCC are SM-N930V (Verizon), SM-N930A (AT&T), SM-N930P (Sprint), SM-N930T (T-Mobile), SM-N930R4 (U.S Cellular) and the SM-N930W8 (Canadian carrier). These models will be available available to their corresponding carriers.

In a website, it was stated that Samsung will be skipping Galaxy Note 6 and will proceed to Note 7 instead. There are still no revelations about the details of the newest phablet released from the company, but rumors never stop from popping out.

Design Rumors

Metal-and-glass design is the expected exterior look of the phablet. Rumor has it that the screen is going to be greatly improved, basing from Samsung's S7 edge, which emphasizes that the Note 7's screen will also be a dual-edge one. It is also expected that the phablet will come into Onyx, silver titanium and blue coral colors. Journalist Evan Blass has also revealed on Twitter that the anticipated phablet has a built in 5.7-inch length, and QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) AMOLED display.

Full Specification Rumors

While the design is expected to be built spectacularly, the specs are also earning a lot of huge expectations from Samsung buyers.

The internal memory is said to be 6GB RAM, which means that users will no longer have to worry about storage space. The device is also expected to be powered with 4600 mAh battery. It is also rumored that Samsung Note 7 will have a Qualcomm Snapdradon processor, Moreover, the device's primary camera will be 12 megapixels, and its secondary camera will be at 5 megapixels. The cameras are reported to be dual-lens which features better zoom in, and wider camera angle.

It is also rumored that the device will support the new USB-C, a new connector that offers faster charging and faster file transfer.

Since the Galaxy S7 was launched as water resistant and dust proof, it is no doubt that Samsung will be following the same feature in its next generations of Samsung models.

The sensor of the phone is going to be technologically advanced for it has the Iris scanner, which actually scans a human's eye for the smartphone's security.The sensor can also scan fingerprints, heart rate, and more.

Note 7 was also said to be launching the latest Android platform, Nougat.

Price and Launch Details

Samsung has confirmed that the launching of the newest phablet will be on August 2, in New York City. It is expected to be sold at approximately $1000, and is said to be the most expensive Samsung smartphone ever.
