Samsung Galaxy S7 Update: Four Variants Of The Device Expected To Arrive?
Samsung's next flagship device, the Galaxy S7, continues to be top of the headlines when it comes to smartphones to watch out for in the year 2016. And though several leaks and information have already surfaced online, new ones have emerged, bringing news about S6's successor.
According to Android Headlines, reliable leakster @evleaks placed an image on Twitter of what looks like a stock control system. This is said to indicate that there will be four variants of the Samsung Galaxy S7. The four models are the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and Galaxy S7 Plus. There is no official word yet about this piece of information so it's best to take this one with a grain of salt.
On the other hand, other sources say that there are only two models expected to arrive - the SM-G930 and SM-G935 for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge respectively. A report about Samsung releasing the Galaxy S7 with two System-on-Chips has also surfaced. It said that one variant will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 while the other one will have the Samsung Exynos 8890. It is possible that perhaps the four variants that @evleaks referred to are actually just two versions each of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Assuming the four variants rumors are true, people can then expect Samsung to announce the official Galaxy S7 lineup during the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC), as noted by Yibada.
The handset will be covered with an alloy construction body and will either sport a 16 or 12-megapixel rear camera with a 1/2.0" sensor. The Galaxy S7 Plus is speculated to come with a 6-inch phablet size display screen with measurements of 163.4mm high, 82 mm long and 7.82mm thick (9.05mm at the camera protrusion), as noted in iTechEngine.
There are also reports saying that Samsung has teamed up with Synaptics on the ClearForce technology. If that's the case, the South Korean tech giant may use the ClearForce technology on its Galaxy S7.
