Samsung Galaxy View Update: Price Drops to $449.99, Specs Include 18.4-Inch Display, 2 GB of RAM

Samsung's massive tablet Galaxy View is now $150 cheaper than its original price. According to a report by Techno Buffalo, the device's price dropped on Amazon making it have a price tag of only $449.99 now. The supersize tablet was released in November with a price tag of $599.99. Apparently, many find it too expensive, thus the first price drop to $499.99.

After some unsuccessful weeks, the device still didn't sell well which made Samsung and its retailers decide to have another price cut. The $449.99 price tag is currently the lowest it has been for the device. The tablet can be purchased via Amazon and Best Buy. Tech Times detailed that B&H Photo Video listed the device with the discounted price but for a limited time only.

As for the specs, the Galaxy View is hefty but not exactly high-end. It sports an 18.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080. It is powered with an octa-core Exynos 7580 chip clocked at 1.6GHz and paired with 2 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage space of 32GB and can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.
