The host has been married to Michael Feldman for quite some time. The couple is said to be expecting their second child, who will be due by the end of the year. In a statement, she said, "It's hard for words to contain all the excitement Mike and I have about expecting a new baby in December. When Vale was born, our happiness was complete. The thought of getting to add to our family now is beyond every hope, dream and prayer I have ever had. It is not simply double the joy — it is joy multiplied infinitely."

Unfortunately, it seems as though their first child, Vale, is not too excited about the news. Guthrie posted a video showing Vale with a shirt that says "I Was Here First." When asked if baby Vale was excited to gain a new sibling, she said, "No!"

Her video encouraged other mothers to post videos of their children reacting to the news of new siblings. However, Guthrie's pregnancy will not allow her to cover the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro because of the widespead mosquito-borne virus called Zika.

The virus is said to correlate with several birth defects. She explained, "I'm not going to be able to go to Rio. The doctors say that I shouldn't, because of the CDC, because of the Zika virus. You're going to have to go to female beach volleyball without me, Matt. Try to carry on."

Nevertheless, fans can still expect to see Guthrie in the small screens. She said, "You guys will have a great time, and I'll hold down the fort. We're going to be in the height of the campaign season."
