Meanwhile, the latter will get hold of information that will make him question Liv's loyalty.

The spoiler report from Latin Post for the episode titled "Even the Devil Deserves A Second Chance" reveals that for the POTUS to stay in office, Liv will have to let her murderous father, Rowan Pope, escape from prison.

Needless to say, this "bad bad thing" that she does will send shockwaves to everyone around.

"You let a mass murderer out of prison?" Liv was asked in the promo video shared by the media outlet.

The former White House crisis manager was then informed of the new development concerning her father. As revealed, the plan now is to find Papa Pope and put a bullet in his head.

Meanwhile, the president himself will get wind of the possibility that his lover and ex-wife could be working on the same team.

The details from Carter Matt indicate that while Fitz is in the process of winning back the sentiments of the public, he will come upon a "shocking discovery." Speculations strongly pointed out that this might be in connection to his suspicions about Liv working for Mellie. Fans were also crossing their fingers on the possibility that Fitz will discover that Liv is the one responsible for Rowan's escape.

In other developments, the summary from Carter Matt mentions that the OPA will be dealing with a new client. But given the current situation, the head of the firm might be too preoccupied to entertain other people's crisis other than the ones currently in her hands.

"Scandal" Season 5 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
