He will once again work with "Scream Queens" executive Ryan Murphy. The two previously worked together on "Glee" when Stamos joined as a guest star.

The Doctor Is In

Stamos will be taking on the role of a doctor in the upcoming season. Curtis explained that the new season of "Scream Queens" will take place in a hospital. The new environment will create a different kind of vibe for the series.

She said, "I think it'll be dark. I think it's going to be very dark. It's in a hospital, [there's] a lot of darkness in hospitals -- dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants."

However, fans can expect some eyecandy despite the morbid theme. "Scream Queens" is speculated to introduce three new attractive doctors to the show. However, the other doctors are yet to be named.

Actresses Tease New Season

Meanwhile, there has yet to be any news regarding how the storyline of the series will go. The previous season was centered in a university sorority that experienced the wrath of a serial killer. However, fans believe that "Scream Queens" Season 2 will be different, with Michele hinting that there will be a lot of surprises.

Michele warned fans that her character will continue to shock audiences. Roberts also teased that the upcoming season will bring a crazy plot. She said, "We haven't even read a script yet though, so we actually don't know what's going to happen. We're adding some incredible new cast members that you'll find out about soon. It's going to be fun, it's going to be wild."

"Scream Queens" returns Sept. 20 on Fox.
