'Scream Queens' Season 2 News: Cast Member Teases A 'Whole New Killer'

Fans of the hit horror drama TV series from FOX, "Scream Queens," who were holding their breath as they waited for news confirming if the show gets a Season 2 renewal can now breathe. According to a press release from Fox, the show has been renewed for a second season. The show is also set at a new location - a hospital. Considering the amount of positive feedback Season 1 garnered, it was expected that the series would get to continue its tale.

For the meantime, there have been reports pointing out to a possible Season 2 plot storyline, particularly the Season 2 big bad.

A big spoiler for those who missed it, the previous season unveiled the identity of the Red Devil during its finale. It turns out that Hester (Lea Michele) was the person behind all the torment the ladies of Kappa Kappa Tau sorority at Wallace University have suffered.

Michele, in her interview with ET, admitted that she was told before the show shot the episode that it was her character who was the killer. However, executive producer Ryan Murphy assured her that the Red Devil will get away with her crime.

When asked if she would be open to bringing Hester back if the show gets a second season, Michele tells the media outlet: "Of course! What do you mean? I'm already waiting, I'm patiently waiting! Obviously, Ryan has shared with a few of us what his ideas for next year are and I think that they're so exciting and I'm down. I think it will be really great too to see Hester in that environment."

However, it would seem like the spotlight won't fall on her alter-ego this time around.

"Ryan shared that next year there would be a whole new killer and so to see her really in the position of being the victim, I think would be really fun to play," she went on to say.

Exactly who this brand new killer is, fans have yet to find out. Stay tuned for more updates.
