'Scream Queens' Season 2 Spoilers: Questions to Be Answered as New Red Evil Emerges

Following the hit finale of "Scream Queens," it isn't a surprise that the show was given another season to give fans the dark kind of comedy that became popular through Hester and her friends.

Lea Michele's Hester turned out to be the Red Devil in the first season as she became a murderer. While it is rumored that Michele will be back to reprise her role, she may not be the big bad this time. Spoilers reveal that a new villain will emerge and what's more interesting is that Hester may become one of the villain's victims.

It is too early to say that a new Red Devil will be named in the second installment, but according to Crossmap, Michele dropped some hints about the villain during her interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"Next year there would be a whole new killer and so to see her [Hester] really in the position of being the victim, I think it would be really fun to play," she said.

Another speculation is that season 2 may be Michele's last season since she said that Hester is going to be a victim. On the other hand, the "Glee" star may have meant that her character will be one of the murderer's victims in such a way that Hester won't need to die or say good-bye.

For now, fans can just expect that the new villain will be a higher level of bad, compared to Hester's Red Devil. The Red Devil version 2 is speculated to be much bigger than the psychological issues that Hester displayed in the first season.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that not everyone in the first season will be back for another round of fun. Earlier reports suggested that about five or four of the originals will return. Michele and Emma Roberts are safest on the list of returnees, while the rest have not confirmed.

The reason why Roberts is highly expected to return is because fans need to know what would happen to her character, especially after it seemed that she was getting attacked by the new villain. The show would have to answer questions flopping in the minds of viewers to keep the interest running.

There is no release date announced yet for "Scream Queens" season 2.
