Seattle Seahawks Roster News 2015: Seahawks Cuts DuJuan Harris, Signs Bryce Brown

The Seattle Seahawks are taking the necessary steps to improve their roster, hoping to offset the loss of several contributors who have been placed on the injured list. However, the latest news of the team releasing running back DuJuan Harris may likely be about the player's inability to perform.

Harris is a four-year veteran who hasn't played a lot of good football as of late, with the team responding accordingly. He played on Sunday after rookie running back Thomas Rawls got injured and deemed lost for the season. He rushed 18 times for 42 yards and had a single fumble.

Later, head coach Pete Carroll announced that they intend to sign another running back in Bryce Brown, which eventually was confirmed on Tuesday. Likewise, the team decided to activate linebacker Brock Coyle off the IR and then followed it up by signing Chase Coffman.

It looks like Seattle have become one of the busiest in terms of player movement today and it certainly looks like they're not done yet. No one can blame them, though, especially after Jimmy Graham got injured and was declared to be out for the season, no thanks to a torn patellar tendon in the right knee. Backup Luke Wilson, on the other hand, replaced Graham, but he too recently hurt his ribs.

Also, the Seahawks announced the release of B.J. Daniels and defensive back Akeem Davis, but they still have one remaining roster spot to fill and it won't take long for them to add another one.

But with all the movement in running back, the team is more than ready to battle against the Cleveland Browns, at least on paper.

Before the release, Harris could have proven himself if given the time, especially with Rawls out for the season, while Lynch is still trying to recover from a separate abdominal injury. However, that obviously isn't the case right now.
