'Sister Wives' Update: Logan Brown Is Now Engaged To Michelle Petty
The Brown family will soon get another addition after "Sister Wives" star Logan Brown finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend Michelle Petty. Logan's parents Kody Brown and Janelle Brown also shared their excitement at the prospect of their eldest son getting married.
According to Logan, 23, they were at the Congress Bridge in Austin, Texas enjoying the city after seeing their favorite band perform when he decided to ask for her hand in marriage. Interestingly, the venue was chosen out desperation to find somewhere romantic after his elaborate plan went awry. "I found the prettiest view of the Colorado river, Congress Bridge. We walked out to the middle of the bridge, and then I popped the question," he said.
Michelle promptly said yes after Logan popped the question with a pear-shaped stone set in a rose gold band. She later took to Instagram to showcase the ring on her finger as well as detail their plans in the lead up to their wedding.

The newly engaged couple revealed that they plan to have a long engagement citing their desire to finish their Master's Degrees while at the same time save for their wedding. They also want to "truly enjoy" being engaged. Logan and Janelle have been dating for three years after being friends for two years with their relationship being featured sporadically in "Sister Wives."
In a video announcement, the groom-to-be's mom Janelle told TLC that she had hoped her son would take the next step in his relationship with Michelle. She revealed that she was getting worried because she was getting attached to her and was afraid he would let her slip away.
Logan's father Kody also excited about his son's engagement and together with his wife, gushed over the fact that the two were made for each. "Logan is sometimes high-strung and Michelle knows how to calm him down and get him to ease into it," said Kody. Logan is the eldest of Kody and Janelle's six children.
