'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 Episode 9 Spoilers: Midseason Premiere Features Crane Forming An Unlikely Alliance
Fans who have long been wanting to find out more about Abbie Mill's fate after the shocking events in the first half of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 may have to wait a bit longer. Meanwhile, will Fox greenlight a Season 4 of the supernatural show?
The spoiler report from TVGuide said that the midseason opener will pick up one month after Abbie's disappearance which possibly means that she won't be around when Episode 9 airs this week.
Spoiler alert for those who missed it, the beloved FBI agent had stepped inside Pandora's evil tree with a shard of Anubis in her hand. She opted to sacrifice herself in order to keep her sister Jenny, Ichabod Crane, Joe, and the rest of the gang, safe from danger.
Her whereabouts remain to be a great mystery when Season 3B premieres as Team Witness is set to face a new demon in the episode titled "One Life."
Speaking of which, the promo video shared over at YouTube gave hints that Crane and company will find themselves in the midst of the enemies who are gathering for what Jenny called a "demon convention."
Despite Mills' absence, the clip reveals that her loved ones will still get to hear from her through some creepy means.
Further details from The Futon Critic said that in his effort to rescue Abbie, Crane will have to form an "unlikely partnership" with someone. Who could this person be? Meanwhile, Jenny will face a foe from the past.
In related news, Design & Trend wrote that with the not-so-impressive viewer rating of Season 3's first half, the show could be in danger of being axed by the network.
Citing their sources, the publication said that the Nicole Beharie and Tom Mison-led series is a show that is "likely to be canceled by May 2016."
With its reportedly declining airwave performance, could "Sleepy Hollow" end in Season 3?
For the meantime, the show returns this Friday, Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. with Episode 9 "One Life." Stay tuned for more updates.
