'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Cast News, Spoilers: 'Spider-Man' Reboot Casts Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori; Robert Downey, Jr. Teases Appearance

Two more main cast members have been added to the growing roster for the much-anticipated "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

"One Life to Live" alum Laura Harrier and "The Grand Budapest Hotel" actor Tony Revolori will join the cast for the long-awaited superhero reboot, which is being made possible by a deal struck between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios. Sony and Marvel are co-producing the film, with "Cop Car" director Jon Watts at the helm and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairperson Amy Pascal producing.

Revolori, who is best known for playing the lobby boy Zero Mustafa, Ralph Fiennes' sidekick, in the Academy Award-winning "The Grand Budapest Hotel" (2014), will play the high school nemesis of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Deadline has learned.

"In The Heart of the Sea" actor Tom Holland will make his big screen debut as Parker/Spidey in this year's "Captain America; Civil War" before starring in "Homecoming."

According to The Wrap, Harrier, who appeared in the long-running soap opera "One Life to Live," has also been cast in "Homecoming."

Harrier and Revolori will join an ensemble cast that already includes Holland, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zendaya in an undisclosed role. Variety reports that Michael Keaton is in early talks to play a villain in the film.

Meanwhile, "Captain America: Civil War" star Robert Downey, Jr. recently alluded to a possible appearance in "Homecoming." While speaking with Jimmy Kimmel on the latter's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," RDJ said, "Perhaps, I will" when the host insinuated that Iron Man will be in the "Spider-Man" reboot.

"I don't have a contract yet," the "Avengers" actor added.

Whether or not he was only teasing, Downey, Jr. is definitely a big fan of Spidey.

"To me, Spider-Man was my whole deal," the actor said. "He was funny, he was cool, he was young like us."

And he's already excited about the film, especially with the casting of his "Only You" (1994) co-star Marisa Tomei as Spidey's Aunt May.

"She seemed ancient before," he said. "Now she's Marisa Tomei. He's got a hot aunt… My God, just think of the possibilities."

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" swings to cinemas July 7, 2017.

"Captain America: Civil War" is in cinemas May 6.
