'Star Wars Episode 7' Plot to Focus on Skywalker Family Saga
With just a couple of months until "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters, rumors about the plot of the movie have emerged, with one saying that "Episode 7" plot will center on the Skywalker family saga.
Kathleen Kennedy of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" recently revealed the focus of Episode 7. She said the stories are all connected to the last six movies and the upcoming movie comes after "Return of the Jedi," according to Design N Trend (DNT).
Meanwhile, director J.J. Abrams said family is central to the whole plot of Star Wars.

"What was incredible about 'Star Wars,' among other things, was that in that first movie Vader could've been his father, but he wasn't, you know," DNT quotes Abrams' statement to Vanity Fair last May. "Leia could've been his sister, but she wasn't."
Abrams also talked about the general gaps in the movie's events. The story was made in such a way that the audience does not really know what the Empire was planning, or what was the implication of the Senate or the Dark Times. Everything was arranged in such a way that the viewers could "fill in the blanks," the report relays.
For Abrams, the new film will be different from the one Lucas made. He explained that he will not remake what the fans have already seen because he wants to adjust to what the viewers of this time want, the report adds.
Meanwhile, the new book "Star Wars: Aftermath" says Emperor Palpatine may not be dead after all. Reddit user Lilpank said the audio book version includes a conversation where Imperial Admiral Sloane says she is not the one managing the Super Star Destroyer. In the book, however, Imperial Admiral Sloane suggests that the one in charge is someone that she presumed was dead, Latin Post reports.
The cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" includes Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford. The movie will hit theaters on Dec. 18.
