'Suicide Squad' Rumors: Is Lex Luthor Joker's Ally Against Batman?
Ever since "Suicide Squad" was announced, fans have allowed for the movie to become one of the most anticipated yet in the history of DC films and with the rumor that "Batman v Superman" villain Lex Luthor might be appearing as the Joker's ally, the excitement only got much more intense.
According to Movie Pilot, a site known for creating theories about upcoming movies, Jesse Eisenberg may have been cast for "Suicide Squad" for a cameo role to help Jared Leto's Joker accomplish some of his plans against Batman.
In "Dawn of Justice," Lex Luthor will be forcing Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman to play his game, while fans know the Joker as Batman's long-time archenemy. The outlet further explained that the common bond to take down Batman may be a good reason for production to place Lex Luthor in a certain role against the Dark Knight.

Also, a Twitter photo posted by director David Ayers seemed to show Jesse Eisenberg in "training," though the photo is in black and white and the mystery actor's face is hard to define with the shadows.
It is worth noting that rumors about Eisenberg's appearance in the movie started a couple of months back and Ayer's photo only made fans the more convinced that there is a chance for a Lex Luthor-Joker alliance set to be unveiled in "Suicide Squad."
Producer Charles Roven also reportedly dropped hints of the possibility when he said, "He's [Joker] more social...a very successful and smart businessman besides being a sociopath."
While the Joker being a businessman sounds a little odd, it paves the way for Luthor's entry, as he is also an accomplished business mogul, furthering adding to the common bond that could possibly be shown in the movie.
The report is merely a speculation as of now so fans are encouraged to drop by theaters when "Suicide Squad" releases on Aug. 5, 2016, to find out if Luthor and the Joker will team up against Batman.
