The characters of USA Network's hit legal drama TV series "Suits" are in for some "dark" times as the fifth season continues this week with Episode 12.

Series star Sarah Rafferty recently talked with the press during the Television Critics Association winter tour in California.

When asked how things were going to come down as the second half of Season 5 arrives, Rafferty, who plays the character Donna on the show, told Collider, "It's going to get dark. It's going to get really dark."

"It pulls everybody apart 'cause everybody is at risk. It implicates everybody," the actress added.

This goes along with what the character Anita Gibbs, essayed by Leslie Hope, had long warned in the Season 5B official synopsis, that apparently, she's not just only after Mike (Patrick J. Adams), but she's also after the rest of the crew as well including Jessica (Gina Torres) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht).

With Donna caught in the middle of the mess, Rafferty went on to discuss how this will affect the relationships among the characters.

"Mike is under investigation. Will that pit Harvey and Mike against each other? If it does, does that pit Rachel and Donna against each other? That's a good question. Obviously, that hangs in the balance a little bit. It's very complicated. It's definitely complicated," she further told Collider.

The 43-year-old, meanwhile, hinted that the show will feature some flashbacks focusing on her alter-ego. In this way, viewers will get to learn more about Donna, her past and her family background.

As for the upcoming episode, spoiler reports indicate that Mike and Louis will be rushing to identify an anonymous tipster in order to "diffuse" a "damning piece of evidence."

"Suits" Season 5 Episode 12 titled "Live to Fight" airs this Wednesday, Feb. 3,  on USA. Check out the promo video for the episode below:
