'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 11 Spoilers: Hank Enlists Kara's Help To Face Old Enemy
CBS' hit superhero drama TV series "Supergirl" Season 1 returns this week with yet another intense episode that will see Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) lending her powers to someone who is about to face an enemy from the past. Meanwhile, the CatCo CEO's son arrives in National City.
According to the synopsis provided over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Strange Visitor From Another Planet," Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) will get wind of information that someone from his planet is about to arrive here on Earth. Hank, who is now revealed as J'onn J'onzz, had a painful past with the White Martians. Comic book fans may already know that this alien race was the one responsible for wiping out J'onzz's own kind, the Green Martians.
In an earlier interview with Harewood, who also served as an executive producer of the show, the White Martians are savages and warmongers while the Greens are lovers of philosophy.

Fearing that he might not be able to handle it all alone, Hank must call on the alien from Krypton to help him deal with the newcomer who, as further revealed in TFC, is now causing trouble by kidnapping Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), a stalwart politician who abhors the presence of aliens.
In another development, Cat (Calista Flockhart) is about to have a family reunion in this episode. As written in the summary, her son, played by actor Blake Jenner, will be arriving in National City for what reason it has yet to be revealed.
Jenner is cast in a recurring role in the series as Adam. This would also serve as a mini-reunion between Benoist and the new cast member as both have appeared before in "Glee" where Jenner played the part of Ryder Lynn.
