'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 13 Spoilers: Kara Trapped In A Dream World; DEO Takes Over Supergirl's Task
Things are about to get even more interesting as the freshman season of CBS' hit superhero drama TV series "Supergirl" continues this week with an action-packed brand new episode that will see Hank and the DEO taking over Kara's task of saving the world from invaders while the latter is out in the dream world.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called 'For the Girl Who Has Everything," a parasitic kind of alien made its way to Earth and attaches itself to Kara Zor-El. Not that her life would be in utter danger, however, the details suggest that her consciousness will be locked away into a kind of world where her family is alive and Krypton was never destroyed.
The promo video for the episode reveals the situation that the titular hero is in. It appears that even her aunt Astra, with whom Supergirl has had some disagreements, is worried about her.

In the clip, the Kryptonian talked to Alex about the "Black Mercy," a telepathic parasite that entraps the hero in a perfect fantasy. It is presumed that anyone who falls under its spell will never want to wake up.
An unconscious Supergirl can be seen wriggling in pain as the monster's tentacles cover her body.
But in the dream world, Kara knows full well that everything she's seeing at the moment are all just illusions.
"This isn't real!" Kara exclaimed as she faces her mother and father.
While Supergirl has yet to come out from that void, Hank, Alex and the rest of the DEO must be doubling their efforts at keeping the Kryptonians at bay.
A sneak peek spoke about a solar storm that has already started creating havoc on Earth and it seems like Astra and her cohorts are just waiting for the right moment to swoop in and make the planet their new base.
