'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 17 Spoilers: The Government Probes on the Department of Extranormal Operations
Looks like the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO) is in for change in the upcoming episode of CBS' hit superhero drama TV series "Supergirl" Season 1.
The sneak peek shared over at Flickering Myth's YouTube Channel opens up with Supergirl and Alex quite baffled over the ruckus at the DEO. They found Major Lane and asked what is going on with all the military sprawling all over the place.
"What are you doing here?" one of the sisters asked. However, before the officer could answer, a highly-decorated official answered at the back, announcing that Lane is with him.

"Colonel James Harper, United States Marine Corps," the man in the uniform declared.
Lucy Lane spoke to fill in the information. It was revealed that the Pentagon seeks to investigate "J'onn J'onnz's infiltration of this [DEO] agency." As it turns out, the government wants to know what the Martian has been doing and who knows about his plans. The high-ranking officer announced that everyone in the room, perhaps even Supergirl herself, will be interrogated about their association with the Martian Manhunter. The place itself will be turned over for scrutiny by the officiating personnel.
"Sounds like a witchhunt," Kara Danver's sister reacted.
"This is an internal investigation done by the book to identify, remove and ultimately prosecute enemies of the state," Col. Harper insisted.
When Supergirl pointed out Lucy's involvement, the man was quick to come in her defense saying that she's there to help the army pursue the investigation since she has known everyone inside even J'onn J'onnz.
Kara and Alex appear flustered. Do they have something to hide? Will they rat out on their friend?
The official synopsis for the Episode 17 titled "Manhunter" was shared over at The Futon Critic where it reads:
"J'onn J'onzz reveals the details of meeting Kara and Alex's father, Dr. Jeremiah Danvers, and assuming Hank Henshaw's identity. Also, Kara debates trusting someone new with her secret identity and Siobhan plots against Kara."
"Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 17 "Manhunter" premieres this Monday, Mar. 21, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
