'Supergirl' Season 1 News: CBS Replaces 'How Does She Do It' With Thanksgiving-Themed Episode In Light Of Recent Paris Attack

TV network CBS has announced that it will be replacing the originally-scheduled episode of its hit superhero drama TV series "Supergirl" in the wake of last week's string of terror attacks in Paris, France that left close to 130 people dead.

The report from TV Line cited an insider claiming that the cabler's move was made "out of sensitivity and respect to the events that occurred."

Supposedly, Nov. 16 would have aired the segment titled "How Does She Do It?" which, according to the spoiler report from Yibada.com, will see Kara Zor-El defending National City from a series of terrorist bombings. Adding more pressure to the situation, it is also said that the Krypton will be babysitting Cat Grant's son, Carter, who was revealed to be having a crush on his mother's personal assistant. In another development, the original fourth episode will see James Olsen having a hard time dealing with the arrival of Lucy Lane, Lois Lane's sister.

Back to this week's affair, "How Does She Do It?" will be replaced with an episode intended for the series' Thanksgiving event titled "Livewire."

As revealed in the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic, Kara will find herself at odds with Dr. Danvers, the woman who took care of her when she first came to Earth from planet Krypton. TFC says that the foster mother will disapprove on her adopted daughter's new role as National City's superhero.

Meanwhile, an accident that occurs affects a CatCo employee. The person, who is described to be "volatile," will become Livewire and targets her boss, Cat, as well as Supergirl.

The earlier casting report from Variety tells of a "confident, abrasive and funny shock-jock" who works for the media conglomerate. The said character is played by "True Blood" actress Brit Morgan.

"Supergirl" Season 1 airs every Monday, on CBS.
