'Supernatural' Season 11B Spoilers, Cast News: Winchester Brothers Facing Off With Pro Wrestlers; Stephen Amell To Appear?
The CW's hit and long-running supernatural drama TV series "Supernatural" is currently on hiatus but fans are still hankering for more information on what to expect when the show returns to the small screens for the second part of its Season 11.
A recent report from TVLine seems to suggest that a considerable part of Season 11B will be tackling on other cases that have little to nothing to do with the current issue with The Darkness.
In fact, an upcoming episode in the winter season of the show will find the Winchester brothers facing off with some professional wrestlers. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean's (Jensen Ackles) entry into the world of pro wrestling doesn't necessarily mean that they will be doing any piledriver, leg drop, facebuster, or suplex, however.

The installment, which is yet to enter production this coming January, will instead find the siblings helping the performers.
The media outlet revealed that some of the colorful characters that are about to appear in the show are "Gunnar Lawless." TV Line described the latter as a "wrestling legend grappling with regrets."
Joining the fray are "Shawn Harley," a "quick-tempered and ambitious rookie on the rise," and "Rio," "a wrestling manager who is saddened to see so many of her guys meeting untimely ends."
As to who will suit up for the new roles, the network is yet to reveal. However, a casting report from Screen Rant said that fans might find "Arrow" series star Stephen Amell sporting leotards for the event.
SR said that the actor, who plays the titular character in the sister The CW show, will take on the stage name of Harley. Although this information is yet to be confirmed, the publication pointed out the 34-year-old's penchant for the ring. In fact, in 2015, Amell received a Slammy Award for Best Celebrity Moment of The Year from WWE SummerSlam for his bout with pro wrestler Stardust.
Regardless of which, "Supernatural" Season 11 returns to The CW on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
