'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 10 Spoilers: Crowley Brings Bad News To Dean; Sam In Difficult Situation
The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "Supernatural" is finally returning for the second-half of its Season 11 with an exciting, brand new episode that will see Sam (Jared Padalecki) trapped with Lucifer (guest star Mark Pellegrino) in his cage. Dean (Jensen Ackles), meanwhile, brews up a plan to rescue his beloved brother while dealing with the problems currently happening on the surface.
Before the show closed its curtains for the mid-season break, fans saw Dean this close to getting smitten by a horde of angels who came down to destroy the Darkness and its embodiment, Amara (guest star Emily Swallow). Sam, on the other hand, got tricked by Lucifer to give him company down below.
The promo video shared over at YouTube gives hints that Dean and the Winchesters' pal, Castiel (Misha Collins) will go down to hell to get Sam out from the tight spot. Of course, they must first have to deal with Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) who fans fear might pull off another trick against the brothers.

However, the teaser trailer seemed to suggest otherwise as he can be seen talking to Dean, informing him of his brother's current predicament. If he wanted Sam to perish, he wouldn't be calling Dean in the first place. Nonetheless, Crowley's friendliness to the gang could be related to his current issue with Rowena (Ruth Connell), who was shown in the clip unbound and enacting a ritual which many suspect came from the Book of the Damned.
Another intriguing detail in the teaser points out to a vampire feeding on what is thought to be an angel. Could this be a sign that the Darkness of this earth has already grown so strong that these blood-sucking entities can now go toe-to-toe with God's messengers?
The synopsis shared by The Futon Critic for the episode titled "The Devil In The Details" reads:
"Now that he has Sam in the cage with him, Lucifer offers Sam a way out but it comes with a steep price. Dean and Castiel look into the angel smiting that could have killed Amara."
