'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 7 Spoilers: Sheriff Summons The Winchesters; Cast Members On The Darkness
Things are about to get even more intense as the 11th season of the hit supernatural drama TV series from The CW, "Supernatural," continues this week with an episode that will see the Winchester brothers going after a killer bunny. Meanwhile, the show's cast members put details on their respective characters' concern with The Darkness.
Citing the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Plush," a horrific murder case shakes up the town prompting Sheriff Donna (guest star Briana Buckmaster) to call on Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as she believes that only the brothers can explain the supernatural phenomena going on.
According to RealtyToday.com, the upcoming episode will mark the return of Buckmaster's character that had previously appeared in the previous season of the TV program.
As detailed further by the report, Donna will tell the brothers about the purported involvement of ghosts. The promo trailer for the episode mentioned by the site says that the town sheriff will be shocked to find out about a certain killer bunny possessed by a supernatural being which drives it to commit the acts.
Meanwhile, Sam continues to see visions he can't seem to explain. This will compel the elder Winchester to seek God for answers.
These visions are highly concerned with this season's central issue, the Darkness.
According to Misha Collins, who plays Castiel in the series, the battle with the entity will eventually bring dire consequences to those involved. During an interview with BuddyTV, the actor said that in order to defeat the Darkness, Cas has to strike a deal with the Devil, which turns it to become one of those things.
Padalecki, on the other hand, hinted to Entertainment Weekly about the extent of The Darkness' power that will drive the humans, demons, angels, the good and bad alike, to join hands and stop the threat.
"It was like a tagline for 'Independence Day' or something, but it was like 'When aliens invade is the day racism ends,' so maybe this is sort of the same thing," the actor teased.
"Supernatural" Season 11 airs every Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
