'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 8 Spoilers: Sam, Dean Investigate Who Is Killing Imaginary Friends
After almost a month of hiatus, The CW's hit drama TV series "Supernatural" is finally back on the airwaves with a brand new episode that will see the Winchester brothers taking a break from dealing with the forces of The Darkness and its embodiment, Amara (Emily Swallow). This week, instead, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be tackling a problem concerning the rampant deaths of imaginary friends.
Sounds a bit confusing but the spoiler report from SpoilerTV.com for the episode titled "Just My Imagination" gave hints on just what the fans should expect. As detailed, Sam will be shocked to see his childhood imaginary friend Sully (guest star Nate Torrence) once again making an appearance. What makes the situation even more bizarre is the fact that Dean can also see Sam's mysterious best friend.
Viewers should anticipate a series of flashback scenes detailing the colorful past that Sam had with Sully. It has been reported earlier that actor Dylan Kingwell will be guesting to play the role of a young Sam. Meanwhile, the flashbacks will also provide more details as to why the youngster needed Sully in his life.
The promo video posted over at YouTube revealed exactly the reason for Sully's presence. As it turns out, the apparition is looking for some help from the brothers over a string of murders which involve not people, but a handful of imaginary friends just like him.
The sneak peek showed some children having some quality time with their "pals" who are projected in their minds in different ways. In one instance, there's a unicorn. The other is a mermaid. All seems to be well until a mysterious figure began killing these imaginary characters which eventually leaves the kids so horrified.
Find out how these events unfold when "Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 8 "Just My Imagination" airs this Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
