'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers: Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki Talks About Fight with Darkness

"Supernatural" season 11 will see the Winchester brothers fighting off the Darkness, and actors Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam) revealed a few details in the upcoming episodes.

Ackles and Padalecki spoke to Entertainment Weekly (EW) and revealed that Amara (Samantha Isler) was banished for a long time many years ago and will now return to destroy God's creations. However, the "Supernatural" season 11 stars said they do not know what exactly Amara is planning to do, according to Christian Today (CT).

The series is currently on a week-long hiatus after the previous episode's shocking revelation. It was revealed that Amara, or the Darkness, is God's sister, Vine Report states.

While Ackles and Padalecki's characters will battle the Darkness, the former hinted that the entity that they perceive as an enemy could bring something good to humanity. Being God's sister, Amara will have the initiative to first observe the creations before deciding on what to do, Ackles revealed.

"It's weird. We're setting it up as the ultimate evil, but there's also this question of, 'Well, is it?'" CT quotes Ackles' statement to EW. "... It's an interesting character and I don't know how we're going to deal with it."

Padalecki, on the other hand, gave a few insights on what he will do to help defeat the Darkness. He said the Winchester brothers will need God's help to ultimately succeed in crushing their enemy. But he also said their characters will be bent on preventing the Darkness from destroying the world, the report relays.

In addition, the upcoming episode will showcase the reappearance of Sam's imaginary friend Sully, who will be played by Nate Torrence. This time, Dean will also be able to see Sully. The episode will also feature flashbacks that will explain why Sam needed Sully during his younger days.

"Supernatural" season 11 will air once again on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
