Team Rocket Officially Returns In 'Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon'

Pokemon fans are about to get a blast from the past with the return of many vanquished opponents in "Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon." This includes Team Rocket's Giovanni from "Pokemon Red and Blue," who is now part of his old criminal organization's modern revival, Team Rainbow Rocket.

As part of Team Rainbow Rocket, Giovanni challenges the player's character with Mewtwo. But he is not alone as the bosses of other crime syndicates featured throughout the series so far, including Teams Magma, Aqua, Galactic, and Flare, are returning.

But it's not just the villains that are returning as it was also confirmed that every Legendary Pokémon from previous generations, such as Ho-oh and Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres up to more recent legendaries such as Xerneas and Yveltal will also be included in the game. However, mythical monsters such as Mew, Celebi, and Arceus are not mentioned despite the fact that Giovanni will be using one against the player.

Aside from returning villains and Pokemons, there will also the Totem Stickers that are hidden all throughout the Alola Region. By collecting these stickers, players will be able to obtain Totem-sized Pokemon. As most "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players know, Totem-sized Pokemon is much larger than their average-sized counterparts.

"Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" will also have a much greater access to the full range of Pokemon as the Island Scan ability will cause different Pokemon to appear more than usual. Legendary Pokemon can also be found beyond an Ultra Wormhole and as mentioned earlier, they will not be limited to the newer generation of Pokemon. Now, there's definitely a chance to truly catch them all.

"Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" are set to arrive on Nov. 17 for the Nintendo 3DS and is expected to be the last Pokemon RPG for the platform.
