'Teen Wolf' News, Spoilers: Dylan Sprayberry Teases Season 5B Relationship Vibe; Shelley Hennig's Character Out For Blood?

This week, the highly-anticipated midseason premiere of MTV's hit supernatural drama TV series, "Teen Wolf," will finally kick in but fans are still hoping to grab some information on what to expect when the show returns to the small screen.

In a latest interview, cast member Dylan Sprayberry told TVGuide.com that his character, Liam, and Khylin Rhambo's Mason will emanate some Season 1 vibe, particularly, the "earlier, goofier relationship" between Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien).

"Our characters get to play that young, excited thing that Dylan and Tyler had in Season 1. It wasn't all serious yet," Sprayberry revealed to the media outlet. "Part of it was really exciting that they got to do all this crazy stuff. It feels like you're part of something much bigger and that's what Mason and Liam get to play off of this season."

Despite the funny scenes promised by the star, the best friends are still not safe from the dangers lurking around Beacon Hills.

In fact, a report from Zap2it.com said that Mason and Liam will find themselves in a tight situation. This may be connected with Hayden's (Victoria Moroles) apparent death. The beta wolf will realize that there's something odd with how his lover passed away. As he and his companion set out to investigate, they find themselves in hot water.

In another development, it appears that there's more to Malia's (Shelley Hennig) ongoing search for her mother. In the same article from TVGuide, it was found out that the werecoyote is setting her eyes on the Desert Wolf and fans should expect some mind blowing showdown when the two comes face to face.

According to Hennig, Malia is in want of nothing but revenge.

"Malia has had enough and no one can really stop her at this point," she told the media outlet adding that while the Desert Wolf may only be interested in tormenting her character, her alter-ego, on the other hand, is bent on killing her.

"Everything in Malia's life has been shaped by what the Desert Wolf has done to her and Malia has nothing to lose," she said.

"Teen Wolf" Season 5 Episode 11, "The Last Chimera" airs Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
