'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: Kira Returns

The upcoming season of "Teen Wolf" season 5 will be showcasing the relationship of Scott and Kira.
Viewers of the series have been anticipating the return of Kira after her disappearance a few episodes back.

The executive producer of the series, Jeff Davis, recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about Kira's involvement in the episodes to come. He stated, "Episode 12 ['Damnatio Memoriae'] cues the audience in to where she's been and where she's going with a bit of a cliffhanger. And then [episode] 13 is all about Kira. It's pretty fun, what we've come up with, and pretty ambitious, and it delves into some of the tougher parts of her relationship with her own mother (Tamlyn Tomita), too."

With Kira soon returning, fans have been shipping the two "Teen Wolf" characters Scott, played by Tyler Posey, and Kira, played by Arden Cho. The return of the series brings the question of how their relationship will progress.

Posey recently spoke to US Weekly about the upcoming episodes and how Scott and Kira will be moving on with their relationship. He explained, "[The second half of the current installment] shows them in a different light. Now you see the mature aspect of them going through all of this s--t with each other and coming out alive and coming out more mature and as adults. I think it's really fun just to grow their relationship."

However, Kira will not be the only thing Scott will be dealing with in the episodes to come. A recent teaser for the episode showed Scott trying to persuade Malia, played by Shelley Hennig, to join them in an investigation.

Unfortunately, it is as though Malia is no longer interested in being part of the pack. From the looks of it, Malia has another secret she is not willing to share with Scott.

"Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 12, titled "Damnatio Memoriae," airs on MTV this Jan. 12.
