'The 100' Season 3 News, Update: New Promo Photos Offer First Look Of Clarke's New Hairdo

The anticipation for the return of "The 100," The CW's hit post-apocalyptic drama TV series, is getting more intense as the date draws near. In a matter of days, the show will kick off its most-awaited Season 3 on Jan. 21 with an opening episode called "Wanheda: Part One."

According to the spoiler report from IGN.com, the current season will pick up from events months after what occurred in the Season 2 finale. Just this week, the network released a slew of promotional photos revealing a great deal of changes on some of the character's appearances.

Highlighting the list is Eliza Taylor's alter-ego, Clarke, who can now be seen with a fiery red hairdo. The character is currently in hiding as a grounder.

Also featured is Octavia (Marie Avgeroloulos) giving Jasper (Devon Bostick) a hand as they arrive in the camp. There are also shots showing Abby (Paige Turco), Lincoln (Ricky Whittle), Roan (Zach McGowan), Murphy (Rickard Harmon), and Niylah (Jessica Harmon). The latter can be seen having an engrossed conversation with Clarke.

As with the events that are expected to happen in the new season, recent reports revealed that Clarke's past actions will bite her tail. For those who missed it, the Sky People leader opted to release radiation to kill the Mountain Men in order for her to save her pack. She decided to leave Camp Jaha and goes on a journey, hoping to find vindication for what she did.

But from what the latest teaser trailer revealed, it seems like she should first be looking after her safety.

"Clarke is being hunted by everyone," a voice can be heard from the video.

Intense scenes followed, with Clarke facing Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey). As remembered, the latter was the one who influenced Clarke to commit the brutality.

Find out how these events unfold when "The 100" Season 3 returns to the small screens in 2016.
