'The 100' Season 3 Spoilers: Clarke Teams Up With Roan to Stop ALIE
The third season of The CW's hit post-apocalyptic drama TV series "The 100" is now closing up and things are about to get even more intense as the show returns with the first part of its finale titled "Perverse Instantiation."
Clarke, who is now at the end of her tether as the situation gets increasingly harder to contain, will be forced to team up with an unlikely person, Roan. Both parties are at odds with each other but they will be left with no choice or else ALIE will triumph over them. Will their alliance bears fruit?
Spoiler alert for those who missed "Red Sky At Morning," Clarke and her cohorts suffered setbacks upon setbacks. Everyone were left feeling frustrated when Murphy decided to back off when the time has come for him to destroy Alie. The AI, meanwhile, barely made it through to safety as Raven went for the kill switch. Clarke, on her part, failed to convince Luna to take the Flame. It didn't take too long for Clarke to realize that Luna is someone not to be trifled with when she forced the chip in her.
Despite the futility of the situation, the synopsis from The Futon Critic for the upcoming episode teases that Clarke will find hope "in the most unlikely place." However, Alie will continue to amp up as her master plan starts to unravel.
The promo trailer for the "Perverse Instantiation: Part 1" reveals Clarke getting more desperate by the minute as she decides to team up with an old enemy. She can be seen talking to Roan, telling the latter that they need each other. It seems like Roan is up for the alliance when he asks the Wanheda the time for their departure. Bellamy looks like unhappy with the plan and confronts his sister about the partnership. The next scene shows Roan escorting Clarke who is bound and gagged as they walk towards the Polis throne room. Is Bellamy right in his suspicions? How will it turn out for everyone as the season nears its end?
"The 100" Season 3 airs Thursday, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
