'The 100' Season 3 Spoilers: Details For First Four Episodes Unraveled; Major Revelation To Be Expected?
The highly-anticipated third season of The CW's hit post-apocalyptic drama TV series "The 100" is finally airing this week and fans are hankering to know the development of the story and the state that their favorite characters will be found in.
A report from Gazette.com revealed the overall summary of Season 3. It is revealed that the new season will pick up three months following the events of Season 2. This time around, the war is finally over and the battle against the Mountain men has been won. Prisoners have been freed and are back in their homes where there seems to be peace "but a sense of normalcy is short lived." New threats arise on top of the old ones and loyalties are once again tested.
Providing further information about the first four episodes of the new chapter, the media outlet said that one of the biggest changes in Season 3 is focused on Bellamy who appears to be "now more of a legitimate leader and is relied on by the older adults in charge."
Jasper, on his part, will be far from what fans have known him to be from the past. Following the death of Maya, the former Arker has now gone ballistic, making him "incredibly unlikable."
Gazette, meanwhile, revealed that this season will perhaps shed light on one of the most prevalent mysteries of the series ever since it premiered. According to the report, viewers will get to find out who launched the nukes that wiped out literally everything on the face of the earth.
Clarke appears later in the season premiere and fans of the character will be surprised as she is about to have her first ever love scene.
Season 3 will also see a new set of characters - the first of which is revealed to be the people who got separated from the main group when the Ark crash landed.
"The 100" Season 3 premiere titled "Wanheda: Part One" airs this Thursday, Jan. 21, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
