Because of this, they sought help from Pastor Tim, whom they revealed their true identities. Surprisingly, the Pastor already had experience in dealing with spies and their secrets. This had Philip and Elizabeth wondering about who else could be aware of their real identities.

With all those problems, fans can expect the upcoming episode of "The Americans" Season 4 to be full of action. The synopsis for Episode 4, titled "Chloramphenicol," read, "Patriotism is tested after a flaw during a mission puts Philip; Elizabeth; William; and Gabriel in danger while Nina puts her life on the line back in Russia."

The executive producer of the series, Joe Weisberg, recently spoke to Vulture about how the upcoming events will affect Philip and Elizabeth's relationship. He said, "If you think of how odd that relationship was in that first season or in that pilot, where he has all these feelings for her that aren't quite reciprocated, and yet they've been together a very long time, there is something deep and emotional between them — it was all in that moment in a lot of great ways."

"The Americans" season 4 airs on FX every Wednesday night.
