The 'Big Bang Theory' Season 10 News, Updates, Spoilers: Penny's Family Introduced; Sheldon's Mom and Leonard's Dad A Thing?
Bazinga! CBS has just released a slew of images for "The Big Bang Theory" (TBBT) Season 10's premiere episode! Titled "The Conjugal Conjecture," the season's first episode will feature Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki)'s wedding. This romantic event will also kickstart a variety of developments for the different relationships in TBBT as well.
The newly released TBBT photos showed Penny and Leonard's garden wedding. Penny wore a beautiful sleeved white lace dress, while Leonard wore a beige suit and tie. They're flanked by Penny's family, who are introduced for the first time in the series: her mother Susan (Katey Sagal), brother Randall (Jack McBrayer), and dad Wyatt (Keith Carradine).

Penny's family is further introduced in an accompanying Big Bang Theory press release, where Susan is described as "anxiety-ridden," while Randall is a "drug dealer" (Here's hoping they mean pharmaceutical drugs, although it's highly unlikely since Penny talked about bailing her brother out of jail). In one image, Penny's family is gathered around the kitchen having a heated conversation, while a visibly frustrated Penny has her hands on her growing headache.
A sneak peek video of the upcoming Big Bang Theory season premiere showed a hilarious conversation between Penny's parents and her brother. Susan gets upset about Penny's drinking in the morning and blames her father for her having turned out to be this way. Penny seems down and out with her crazy family's antics, but we're glad to have had a glimpse of them before the season premiere!
Strange bedfellows: Sheldon's mom and Leonard's dad?
It's also revealed that Sheldon Cooper's mom (played by Broadway actress Christine Baranski) and Leonard's father (Judd Hirsch) spent an entire night together, causing an awkward morning the next day! A promo image showed the odd bedfellows having what seems to be an intervention with Sheldon, Penny and Leonard in the apartment living room. Looks like the two best buds' lives are about to get crazy intertwined all the more!
Sheldon, Penny and Leonard were also seen prepping for bed. But Sheldon badgers Leonard about what his mom and his dad could possibly be doing, stating matter-of-factly that it would be "weird" for them to become brothers, much more him living with his brother and his brother's wife. Astute as always, Sheldon.
Raj/Claire/Emily love triangle
As for the hopeless romantic Raj Koothrapali, he might soon resolve to choose between the two loves of his life, Emily and Claire. He's been dating both of them, but with "The Big Bang Theory's" future remaining unclear past its tenth season, it's likely that he will finally choose who he wants to spend his life with.
