'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 10 Spoilers: Amy and Sheldon Are An Item Again
American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" is set to return with a new episode that will finally bring Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) back together. According to International Business Times, the previous episode of the series showed Amy wanting to be Sheldon's girlfriend again. However, instead of accepting her back, the physicist turned her down.
His decision left Amy brokenhearted and she even thought of going back to the dating world. A promo photo showed Amy inviting Dave (guest star Stephen Merchant) for dinner. But as it turned out, it won't be long until the two will be back in each other's arms again.
According to the official synopsis of season 9 episode 10 released by CBS, Sheldon will come to his senses and will regret rejecting Amy. The Hollywood Hills reports that the upcoming episode will be titled "The Earworm Reverberation" and it will show Sheldon listening to a Beach Boys song and suddenly realizing that his true feelings for Amy are the reason why he can't stop thinking about her and why he can't get that song out of his head. Along with that, he will also come to understand how much she means to him.

On another note, the synopsis also revealed that Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard (Simon Helberg), who have a band named Footprints on the Moon, will go on a journey to find their band's only fan.
Meanwhile, the mid-season finale is going to be a special one. Latin Post also detailed that the last episode of the year will have Sheldon giving Amy the gift of intimacy for her birthday. He tells Penny (Kaley Cuoco) his plans which leaves her in utter shock.
"After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes," said executive producer Steve Molaro to Variety.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 10 will air on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
