Avid followers of CBS hit sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory," will finally get to see in the flesh the very important person in Sheldon's (Jim Parson) life. Meanwhile, details for the 15th episode of Season 9 has just been dropped.
According to the synopsis from The Futon Critic for the episode titled "The Meemaw Materialization," Sheldon will be thrilled to introduce to his friends Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), and the rest of the gang, his ever dearest Meemaw.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Academy Award nominee and veteran actress June Squibb has been tapped to portray the physicist's "much-discussed, but never-before-seen" grandmother.
However, Sheldon's excitement for the newcomer's arrival quickly turned sour when she locks horns with Amy (Mayim Bialik).
Exactly what pushed the elderly to visit her genius grandkid is yet unknown, but the fans are quite sure that Meemaw's presence will certainly make the episode even more interesting to watch.
Meanwhile, in the show's up and coming 15th episode, StarwatchByLine.com reveals that Raj (Kunnal Nayar) will find himself in a quite devastating situation during Valentine's Day.
The synopsis hinted that Raj will get to meet a cute girl at the comic bookstore. Stricken by love at first sight, he will muster up the courage to tell Emily (Laura Spencer) that he likes someone else with whom he wants to pursue a relationship with. Raj will then spill out his feelings to Claire (Janelle Mara) but the latter will reveal that she already has a boyfriend.
The situation will leave Raj horrified. Out of desperation, he will beg for Emily to take him back but the woman won't be having any of his whims.
The episode will also get to see Amy and Sheldon hosting another edition of "Sheldon Cooper Presents: Fun With Flags" together. Leonard and Penny, meanwhile, will grapple with the truth about ageing and partners Howard and Bernadette will find a surprise in their hot tub.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
